Those statements "excite the imagination with the anticipation of hearing a world-class scientist give his insights on some of the profoundest questions of metaphysics. If that is what we expect we are in for a shock; for in his very next words, Hawking dismisses philosophy.

No one should be sorry getting and reading his book - quite revealing and educational. The book came in excellent condition, and I've been introducing it to others. To me, Chapter Ten is the best. Highly recommend this book. And best part came when you get to chapter 10. Highly recommend!

Basically, the author makes a good case against atheism. He give many examples of the impossible fantasies required to believe life evolved from random chemistry. He relies on the latest science on the subject of bio chemistry and origin of life research.
His arguments are logical and peppered with humour.
He makes his case very well.
Good book.

Rabbi Moshe is very knowledgeable on both subjects...the sudo evolutionary hypothesis and atheism vs the Scientific Truths taught from biblical texts. Very down to earth and understandable..even to the layman. He challenges atheistic and evolutionary conundrums for what they are "Foundations built on sand" and with much detail, explains the "WHY"

Detailed, a bit o a long read, but has comprehensive arguements on the subject. Rabbi Averick is very well versed on the subject and a lot of research went into the book.

It takes the atheists' attacks and turns them agains themselves. I thoroughly enjoyed the rabbi's lawerly-sarcastical style. Well done...

Well written, thoughtful. There is so much that Atheism does not question in a logical manner. Rabbi Moshe Averick discusses some of this head on.
Rabbi Averick destroys the foundations of atheism and show that atheism requires more blind faith than a belief in God. Unfortunately atheism is taught in the school system as science when it should be barred from the public school classroom like any other "religion". The U. S. public schools are promoting an atheistic world view that is very destructive to the morals of our society.
