A little boy dives deep in the sea and sees all sorts of sea life. He finds a treasure chest and brings back some treasure. If you like this you can also go on a similar adventure in the author's other book, Way Up High In a Tall Green Tree.

A little boy dives deep in the sea and sees all sorts of sea life. At the end of the story, the readers discover he is in the bathtub using his imagination. Feb 09, 2017 Elle Markov rated it really liked it. When you were little bath time was the best, well, as long as you got to bring toys in. With the right toys you could be anything you wanted; a pirate, a mermaid, a scuba-dive; with your toys and imagination it could be so much fun.

Has a wonderful flow to it and I love how it shows the fun of using your imagination. My five year old remembered it from a story time at Barnes and noble two months ago! There it was $20 after tax so amazon has a much more reasonable price.

Used this book for a week long early literacy block for kids ages 2-5. They loved it and I had a multitude of activities I created inspired by the book!

My preschoolers loved this book with a catchy rhyme that introduced them to various sea creatures.

I purchased this book for my classroom, it was for a sea life theme. I purchased the book new but when I received it it did not appear to be. There was no protective cover on the book & it had a black marker mark on the back cover. The book was still in great condition. Overall I am happy with the book and my students enjoy it very much.

Very cute story that was fun to read with my ocean-obsessed 3 year old son. Particularly sweet that (spoiler alert) at end, he's actually in bathtub for the whole adventure. Fun and imaginative.

From the viewpoint of a pre-k teacher that loves to read to kids and get really animated, this books fits the bill. It is full of great rhymes, adventure and excitement, as a cute ending. The kids just love it and that is what really matters.
One of my 5 year old's favorite as he quickly latched on to reading the repeat phrases. Now one of my favorite gift to buy for other kid books.
