Each book has a different main character. I am enjoying the story, and enjoying seeing different perspectives. I do get tired of the main characters always doubting themselves, and still having everything work out. I wish they could be stronger in their decisions. But, they are learning to fight for good, and I do enjoy the series.

My son has not liked reading outside of school and this series has really captured his attention. He now puts down the electronics on his own and picks up these books. I hope we can find a similar series for him to enjoy.

This series takes a potential future control issue and expands on the various ramifications of it. Child limiting is the norm in China and in the future could be everywhere. The numerous issues that would come up are brought out in various situations and scenarios. It is great for the teen reader.

Getting students in a behaviour class to want to read is beyond difficult... but they can't put these books down... I give them a two thumbs up.
