Catchy rhymes and bright colorful illustrations. My child loves it and at age 3 can recite most of it herself. We took it to preschool one day to share and a boy who hasn't liked the group book activities much was super-engaged by it and went home telling his mom all about it.

This book is a real winner with my 3 year old grandson. He loves books and this is one of his favorites.

This is a very appropriate book for little children who love dinosaurs. The pictures are bright and lively. There are many rhymes that kids love. The contents are truly harmless and does not use inappropriate language. The pages are thick and sturdy. Just get it if your little one loves dinos!

We just love this book. Be warned though, the dinosaur names aren't easy to pronounce! Definitely a job for google voice before reading outloud to your kiddo

We love this book! It is fun to read over and over as the dinosaurs get ready for their rumpus. I had to look up the pronunciation of some of the dino names, but the illustrations are fun and not scary when it comes to dinosaurs.

What a great book! I must confess we already owned other Tony Mitton books and Guy Parker-Rees is one of my favorite illustrators (Check out Giles Andreae's books also illustrated by him).

But this book is wonderful. It's almost impossible to read with out singing/rapping by the end. It quickly became the requested book of our 2-year-old after only one or two reads.

The only thing that would make it better is a little pronunciation helper for the parents. A couple of the dinosaurs are not 'common' ones you'll necessarily know.

Don't hesitate, buy it now. ;-)

My 2 1/2 year old son loved the book from the minute I brought it home from the library. No matter which other books I take out to read, he asks for this one instead. What attracted me was the illustrations have a "Richard Scarry" feel to them. So they are three gentle looking animals that are firefighters and save a dog in a fire. It's a fairly quick read, good for those nights where everyone is a little more tired than usual, and it rhymes. I'm here buying a copy now since the library book has to be returned in another week and I know I'll get the request for it. At the end, it has the back page where they explain in more detail different things a fire fighter uses like helmet, air mask, etc.
Such a fun read. My 3 year old has almost the whole thing memorized and quotes it as I read!
