After years of trying to become pregnant without success, Rachel Dawson and her husband Thomas felt their dreams had finally come true the day they brought home their newly adopted twin babies. Though the lawyer Baron Bell who arranged for the surrogate mother charged a hefty six-figure fee, one glance into the eyes of their precious children told them it was all worth it - until the birth mother reappeared, first demanding more money, then the twins themselves. Suddenly Baron Bell was nowhere to be found, and the Dawsons were once again childless, heartbroken and nearly destitute. When the case finds its way to the offices of high-profile attorney Lizzie Fox, she can’t wait to take down the so-called “Mr. Wonderful.” And she knows she’ll have all the help she needs as it’s just the kind of crime that really gets the Sisterhood’s adrenalin flowing. Once they get their hands on the perpetrators there will be hell to pay, and it will cost a lot more than cold, hard cash.

Having read earlier Sisterhood books, I knew who was doing what to whom. Unfortunately, the author fails to supply ANY character development - or character relationships - who are these people ? who/ what are the Vigilantes? what is their connection to one another? why are they living at the top of a mountain? And how are the vigilante females connected/related to Charles, Harry, Bert, Espionoza, and Jack? This is not a good stand-alone book; prepare to be confused, muddled, and wondering what's what.

The dialogues were sooo bad (sophomoric at best); almost felt like a high school writing class gone wrong. Previous Sisterhood books were okay, light reads but as the series gets longer and longer the books get sillier and sillier.

Sorry I spent the $$ to buy and the time to read - Just a bid YUCK

When I read Week End Warriors I was hooked. As you read her book you know that its fiction, but you wish that sometimes justice could be dealt with when the courts fail to do their job. Some authors go into so much detail that if you take the time to read the details you forget what the story line is, but Fern Michaels stays pretty well on track. One thing I don't like about her books is sometimes they keep me up until 2 or 3 o'clock in the morning.

Uproarious adventure. The Sisterhood is primary after the plan is made. Mother Nature intervenes and the adventure begins. The usually supporting guys took over and the pictures left to the imagination made the book 5 stars. The rest of the book. Was fast paced and excellent. One of my favorites for sure.

My sister absolutely LOVES this series of books. I bought them & am trying to read them in order. This is NOT book 15, but is book 16. It through me off kilter when I got to the book advertised as book 16. Vanishing Act is book 15!!! I do enjoy the books very much. My sister & I have had several chuckles over them! I'm looking forward to the rest of them. I'm on #17 now. All are great reads

The story is good, I just feel like sometimes the writing is a bit too " young adult" feeling. I mean grown women throwing their fists in the air, taking a vote and they raise their hands instead of saying "I". It is sooo junior high school. These are mature women. Kinda weird. Even the men act like teens.

This "book" sold in Kindle format for $4.99. Should have been .99. It was poorly constructed, badly written and had little continuity. In addition, the "book" took about 63% of the download. The rest was used for promotions of other Fern Michaels books. Actually wound up paying to read the advertising.
First time in my Kindle experience that I feel I was ripped off. Don't waste your money.
Great read. Great story line.
I hope she keeps the series going.
