As far as I am concerned, this is the definitive biography of Bette Davis’s career.
Unlike other books that are written about her, especially those that discuss her personal life, this one sticks to the facts and is supplemented by Bette Davis’s view of what happened during different aspects of her career. If you are only going to read one book about Bette Davis, this is the one you should read.
