Okay, I have been reading up on Jane Fonda lately. I got into watching her old (80's) workout videos. Then I found out she had a workout book.

Okay, I have been reading up on Jane Fonda lately. It was a Little hard in the beginning to understand all the mooves. Luckily I could see them all on the video "Jane Fonda's workout", from 1981, on youtube. I am now working out with the book's program. I shift from beginner's to advanced. I don't feel that it is a hard workout, but it makes me sweat, and I'm quite tired afterwards. In the long run, it gives me more flexibility, it is easyer to do everyday's activities. I first got this book, along with the audio tape, when I was 21. I'm 54 now. Jane did a lot of things in her life I do not support, however, this book I definately do. At the time of my life, it's historical. She actually gave me the courage to be myself, use my own energy, etc, etc.

Jane Fonda's Workout Book is a nonfiction book about exercise written by actress Jane Fonda. It was published in 1981 and made the top five on the New York Times nonfiction hardback bestseller list. A workout video was made from the book. It was also adapted into an album. This book is a presentation of an exercise program for women, the first by a celebrity. The exercise program is based on a dancer's warm-up and provides detailed instructions for a beginner's routine and an advanced routine.

Okay, I have been reading up on Jane Fonda lately. I got into watching her old (80's) workout videos. Then I found out she had a workout book. I found it online and had to have it. Being that the book is old I was worried a tad about the condition... But they had listed that it was in good shape. So when it arrived I was over joyed to see the AWESOME condition it was it. I'm guessing it was due to the fact is came from a library, because it was stamped by a public library. I now use this book a lot. I'm more then happy with it. ;)

Best way to get in shape! I used this in the 80s, and I'm so happy to be able to get back this same book to get my body back! It was in almost perfect condition! Very happy with this product!

I used to do this workout in the 80's and found it again for 2014 since I had put on some weight. Used to do the Advanced long ago, but now the Beginner's workout is just as worthy and works just as good as the Advanced (I'm out of practice!). Book was also in excellent condition from seller! You've got to have this book!!!

I first got this book, along with the audio tape, when I was 21. I'm 54 now. Jane did a lot of things in her life I do not support, however, this book I definately do. At the time of my life, it's historical. She actually gave me the courage to be myself, use my own energy, etc, etc. I'd get up each morning at 5:00 a.m. and listen to the audio tape and do the workout and then go to work and it literally saved my life. I lost 50 pounds and have never regained it, even after having two children. Her dicussion of Katherine Hepburn was certainly inspirational. Just decide you're worth it and you'll be happy you bought the book and did it! I just hope they re-release the audio as well as the book. I have very serene memories of working out to "Wasting Away Again in Magaritaville"! Always loved it.
