This is a great tool for my kids and I for beginning to learn to identify butterflies. However, we will soon need to get a guide that includes photos instead of drawings (so the colors are truer) and the underwing view as well. It's sometimes hard to catch a butterfly in your sight long enough to compare and often you'll be able to get a good look only when they rest.

I like to do closeup photography of butterflies in the summer and a copy of this folding field guide lives in my camera bag!

Ok for a pocket guide, nice pictures, but the creator should have included more information on each species, plants their attracted too, habitat, etc. I would consider purchasing a book on butterflies and moths for my next purchase.
