I really enjoyed this interesting and well documented book of Mormon immigrants crossing the Atlantic to come from England to America. It held my interest from beginning to end, and told incredible challenges, as well as the way the immigrants kept their spirits high on their voyage. I would recommend it to anyone who wants an good, but realistic, novel to read!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book about the voyage of seven women traveling to American and then on to Utah to practice their religious preference. I especially loved the twins. They really added spice to the trip.

The Moral of the story was that even the most hardened sailor can come to Christ with the right persuasions. I felt like I was right there being faced with the calamities of man and the elements.

Good read.

I thoroughly enjoyed reading 'Seven Sisters' by Carolyn Hart Bennett. Her story of seven young women making the sailing voyage from England to America during the migration of many Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saint members was very thoughtful, interesting, exciting, tear-jerking,and seemingly factual accounting of those trips. She made the characters come to life and we could see, feel and hear with them. I personally could not see myself having the strength these folks did, to make such a journey. And the Faith the exhibited to do it was amazing. So loved the story and book. Congratulations on a work well done.

I found this book to be very historical, as well as extremely interesting. You can tell Ms. Bennett put a lot of thought and research into this book. You really do become invested in the lives of the families and their challenging adventure.

Very interesting and fun to read. I was particularly interested because I had ancestors that came across the Atlantic on these ships. The story was full of drama and fun and I appreciate all the research that was done to produce an accurate historical book. I can't wait for the sequel.

story could have been written with more in depth feeling and detail. I finished the book because I was interested in what and how they transitioned from one country to another. Which didn't happen to any degree. I would recommend it for young readers, but I, myself, would not read it again.

Great book. Loved the storyline, the content and the thoughts behind it. Couldn't put it done. Would like more like this.
I enjoyed the book mainly because I had an ancestor who traveled on the same ship. Carolyn is a great writer and researcher.
