This book will be a children's favorite for years to come. The simple, rhymed story is set against page after page of colorful, gorgeous illustrations that my family just loved. The morals expressed are universal, and seem to have no connection to the Bible verses which precede and follow the story. I would have preferred a completely secular approach.
Nevertheless, I heartily recommend this book. It will teach your children an important lesson while they enjoy looking at all the adorable little characters that the author has created.
