This is my favorite vegan cookbook I've found so far. My daughter has an intolerance to dairy and most meats. We are not vegan, but we eat vegan meals regularly. I was so grossed out by the cheese substitutes I've found- they smell and taste like feet- and most vegan cookbooks make recipes that are what you WANT to eat (pizza, casseroles) but with cheese substitutes. So gross!! This cookbook makes me happy because it's practical food. It's not vegan food disguised as regular food; it's just healthy, clean food. I'm very happy with this book and wish I could go ahead and return the other lame vegan cookbooks I've gotten.

I love, love, love this book!! As a fairly new vegan, I wanted variety. Every recipe I see I go and look in the pantry or put the list of items I need on my grocery list.

I always look forward to trying new dishes. This cookbook gives a great variety of dishes to try. A nice touch to cooking.
