Cool thing that really dragged me into Starbound were the fact you can make your own space stations. All you need is a Station Transponder, obtainable from someone you can find on a station. I would have given it 5 stars but the patterns were not as straight forward as they could have been for all projects.

The book begins with a kit hack where you use kits with precut wooden pieces (from the 70's but easy to find on ebay) to create other pieces with a bit of modification. The next section of the book is how to make furniture from basswood and a few other items. It gives you a run down on tools and sizes of wood and the types of glue etc. While the book is not the most recent out there the foundation is solid and will give anyone the confidence to make furniture.

It was a difficult book to follow and not what I was looking for. Projects were way over my head.

This booklet has a lot of information for its size. It is very detailed and gives clear directions and good photos. I appreciated all the directions as I am not an experienced miniaturist. If you are experienced, there are probably better books out there, but this one fit my needs and I would recommend it for a beginner.

A lot of details on the "how to." Although many photos, there is a great deal of written instruction so one must be good with following the written word, as opposed to "show me." Despite that a good buy and lot of helpful information. Would buy it again.

Very thorough and useful reference.

I bought several doll house books to learn to build etc. I build houses and donate them. These are just pictures........so don;t buy if you are wanting to learn....this is just a lot of houses with expensive store bought furniture that actually was of no benefit
