More Than a Dream book.

My husband, looking for more Westerns, actually found the Red River series, read them and recommended them to me. You will be right there in the book's action, feeling the joy and sorrow of these characters. I've laughed, and cried right along with the people in these stories. I'm on the third series in the saga of these pioneers of North Dakota and will read all the books this woman has written.

She's one of the best author's I've ever read, and you can trust that her books will inspire you, through the characters faith, to a greater faith in God, yourself. Amazing books, and Lauraine Snelling must be an amazing lady to be given such a gift of writing. Thank you Miss Lauraine for your prolific writings, and I'm so grateful my husband found, and shared your books with me.

In her usual way, Lauraine Snelling has given readers another book that is hard to put down. Her storytelling is spellbinding and the religious connotation is greatly appreciated. It is so nice to be able to read a book that is not filled with bad language and sex. Thank you for a really good clean read. I look forward to other series by Ms. Snelling.

Lauraine Snelling expresses her character's feelings, hopes and dreams as if they were real people, with all the nuances of relationships (love, pain, grief, bewilderment). She is my favorite author who makes the late 19th/early 20th. centuries really come alive. I feel like I know what it was like to live in that era - when the sewing machines, threshing machines, washing machines, telephones and automobiles were all new inventions.

I enjoyed the conclusion to Thorliff's portion of the story. Guess I'll be going on to finishing up w/the girls. All in all the Entire series from Book one of Red River Series has been an interesting series. I think if you are into the Historical Fictions type of books you will enjoy this series. To me it is an easy flowing book - nothing really dramatic - but very well developed characters and story line and the history portion of the books are great. I learned a lot about that time period and location during the period of immagration to United States.

I had begun reading this in my Kindle and was halfway finished when the story suddenly disappeared. I tried several times
to find it, but it had apparently been deleted, and I had to reorder it in order to finish the story. I do love the writings of
Lorraine Snelling. She is a fabulous writer!

I'm not the biggest fan of Christian literature but these were a good read. Some interesting insights into early American prairie settling and history. It's good to be reminded of what earlier generations built for us, and to be reminded that the women were strong and resourceful as well.

a good series would love to be able to read in it all in one book,
Another great book by Lauraine Snelling!!! I couldn't put it down. Looking forward to reading the next book about the town of Blessing.
